How to dress for a pear shape

Like many of us wonderful young women in the World, I have a pear shape. This means you have a petite top half and most of your weight is on the bottom part of your body.

Let’s start from the top. Your top half: you’re slimmer here so it’s better to draw your attention to your best assets. T-shirts without sleeves are a good way to go, because they show off your slimmer arms. Tailored jackets are also a good choice. They accentuate your smaller waist.

Having a pear shaped figure does have its benefits, because our figure is the best one to wear those A line skirts everyone wants to wear. If you wear them in a structured fabric, you skim over your larger hips away. Pencil skirts are also good for us. They are very flattering and they show off your waist. But make sure that all skirts end just below the knee. Short Skits aren’t in the card for us.

When it comes to picking out trousers, the best pick for us are bootleg jeans. If you combine them with booths, you do not only look sexy, but it also makes your legs appear longer and slimmer. Stay away from wide leg jeans, they accentuate your larger hips even more. Also avoid jeans that taper in and are tight around the ankles.

All this you can accentuate with catching earring and necklaces.
