Mermaid Dress

A mermaid dress is a dress that is most often strapless, with a sophisticated structure that flares out at the bottom half of the dress to the hem, while the upper part of the dress is form fitting from the bust to the torso. The skirt can flare at many points on the dress, including above, at, or below the knee. The bottom flare gives the silhouette of a mermaid tail, giving this dress its dramatic look and unique name.
