My Special Wedding Day

I got married to my beloved boyfriend of 2 years after meeting under the most unexpected incident. I am a high school teacher in the state of Massachusetts. I have been living in the city of Boston for about 7 years now after moving from Oklahoma where I grew up. It had been a lonely couple of years for me. I had my daughter while still a college student. My life was suddenly very busy and I was pretty occupied all the time. I had to attend evening college while working part-time and taking care of my daughter.

A few years back, my daughter and her friends opened a dating site and entered my profile. Beautiful, outgoing, fun loving single lady seeking her prince, said my page. I was non-committal about the whole affair but played along anyway.

Then one day I got a response on my page from a young handsome cowboy from Texas. I jokingly responded to his message and thought nothing of it. He replied and we agreed to meet on a date. It happened that we lived in the same city, on the same block and on the same floor. My date just lived two doors away from me. It’s weird because we had never seen each other or met before until the internet.

To cut a long story short, we dated and fell in love. Two year later, we invited family, friends and workmates to a nice garden wedding one summer afternoon. I wore a beautiful white dress that I bought from Macy’s. I still have the dress to this very day.
