My Perfect Wedding Dress
After being engaged to the man of my dreams for over two years, it was the day we had both been waiting for, our wedding day. Everything was flowing just perfectly. My family and friends all pitched in and made it beautiful.
I was terribly nervous all morning, my hair in curlers, as I rushed about decorating and ensuring everything was in order. I had nothing to worry about, but I still could not eat all day.
The time finally came for me to go “backstage” and get ready. It had taken so long, but was still too soon. I pulled out my wedding dress. It was traditional, white, and complete with a flowing train and veil. This wedding dress was perfect for me, just what I had always pictured wearing, from the time I was a child, imagining myself walking down the aisle. The moment had finally arrived.
A close friend told me she saw the bouquet of flowers in my hands shaking as I walked down the aisle. I might have still been nervous, but once I locked gaze with my husband-to-be, everything else faded. The wedding ceremony flowed like a dream.
I could not have asked for a better wedding, and afterwards everyone uttered how beautiful the wedding dress fit and how perfect it was on me. It was a lovely evening, and the best part of my life was only just beginning.
