The Unfortunate Evening Dress

This story is about the creation of this beautiful evening dress which i have shown in the picture attatched. This evening dress was designed by one of my friend for my wife for our engagement ceremony. I told her that my fiance needs something in Red with a different styling than the regular indian patterns. She tried really hard to design this garment and came up with at least 20 sketches but i disapproved all of them saying that there was nothing new about any of those. Finally she came up with this perticular design and i liked it at once. She started constructing this dress which i finally approved. She got this embroidered fromthe finest of craftsmen and got it ready for trial one day before our engagement. My fiance tried it and really liked it. On our engagement day she was supposed to wear this dress. In the evening my fiance wore this dress and moved toward the venue of our engagement. Unfortunately the dress got stuck in the car door and got torned. My fiance got so upset that she did not even want to go for the engagement. She had to go back home and wear another dress for engagement. So all the efforts which my friend put to get this dress done got wasted and my fiance had to wear something very regular.Still she was looking like a princess and looked like the the most beautiful woman on earth to me.The lesson which i took from this incident is that we should never have very high hopes about the materialistic things in life. What matter most is your inner beauty and not any dress or your other belongings.
